TPE to get rid of water bottle microplastics for me—and I have never felt better since age 40
New Data with historical controls (not as good as a Randomized Controlled Double Blinded Trial-RCDBT) from Argentina shows how Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) (DOI:10.1177/13872877251375430) significantly slows and reverses all measures of the cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease (AD—sorry but am using these three abbreviations—TPE, AD, and RCDBT) . That study buttresses data from the AMBAR randomized double blinded controlled trials ( DOI:10.1002/alz.12477 ) that TPE reverses (YES Reverses) the cognitive decline of patients with early and mid AD.
And a new study shows how drinking water (or coffee?) from plastic cups or water containers (yes, some hardened plastics are used in some coffee/tea/macha mugs and pouches, and even twisting a cap –use those stainless steel or wooden caps—emits huge quantities of nanoplastics into you through your drinking water) (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jhazmat.2025.138948).
Why am I mentioning a treatment that reverses early Alzeheimer’s with micro- and nano- plastics. It may be that these nonoplastics are changing our third and forth degree structure of our proteins. That change in protein structure appears to be a leading cause of inflammation and aging in you and me. That change in protein structure in animal and human studies creates inflammation and add to or maybe (is hypothesized to) directly cause dementia. Medicare and other insurance policies should pay for this as of now off label use of TPE—it is an FDA approved process.
TPE got rid of nanoplastics in my blood (and except when I travel to foreign countries when I need bottled water –I am in Guadalahara Mexico now speaking for the Cleveland Clinic at Hospital Angeles conference celebrating Doctor’s Day in Mexico –there is a standing room only crowd of 2500 in this auditorium, and only drink purified bottled water in those foreign countries with imperfectly reported tap water--so cannot avoid micropastics totally), and probably will get rid of microplastics for you as it does so in a large study (https://genomicpress.kglmeridian.com/view/journals/brainmed/1/3/article-p52.xml).
I did have my second TPE treatment at our Dallas Clinic (I am an investor in LifespanEdge.com—the data are that good) and have never felt this good since my 40th birthday—I didn’t have this feeling after my first treatment although many report such. I will have my third treatment at our Puerto Rico clinic opening next week and hopefully my forth and last this year near the opening of our Columbia, Maryland or West Palm Beach clinic, both opening sometime in next three months. Yes even if placebo effect and I do not think so—I can’t remember feeling this good since age 40, and the data are that good.
The new blood tests approved by the FDA for detecting AD up to 20 years before clinical symptoms also gives many a chance at preventing AD. As I blogged about last week—” The publishing of the mechanism why the speed of processing games of BrainHQ.com (no conflict) that in randomized studies decreased dementia after 18 hours of practice in 10 years (2 hours a year on average) that decrease dementia by over 40%. These games as opposed to reading, memory games, crossword puzzels etc increase acetylcholine production in key brain areas for cognitive function and memory (https://games.jmir.org/2025/1/e75161/). Why timed Speed of Processing and not other games—probably the same reason why exercising a muscle or jumping increases strength or bone density –speed of processing games may injure the neurons and you then turn on a repair gene that makes them more robust. But that’s hypothesis—in the meantime I did two more hours of Speed of Processing Freeze Frame and Double Decision on BrainHQ today…I do live what I write about; and I do pay for it myself so I can write about it without bias. Go there and start playing-- www.brainhq.com”
TPE reduces by over 80% these proteins (Tau217; Ab 42/40 etc) that predict AD twenty years earlier—and like microplastics I hope they did in me. For more info on TPE you can study our full research paper at LIfespanEdge.com/research In the meantime I have changed behavior and suggest you consider doing the same:
1. I will not drink from a plastic bottle again when an alternative is available.
2. I will only store food in glass containers.
3. I am doing Double Decision and Freeze Frame on BrainHQ every Saturday AM and Wednesday PM with more discipline after my resistance exercises. Even when on the road speaking I do those exercises and will do the speed of processing brain games
4. I will have TPE’s 3 and 4 this year and at least one each year here after.
